I just wanted to say Tom, that it's incredibly uplifting to see you thriving in your 30's, because people always say that'll be the case, but I've never really believed it. I've very much been having a similar crisis to the one you spoke about, where I'm older than my parents were when they had me, but I've also spent so much time in a depression fog that it's been inconceivable to imaging a life beyond it.

So, having subscribed to Patreon mostly just for this comment: Tom, in a lot of ways your Life Mirrors my own. Which makes sense kind of since you are about 2 months younger than me. First off, while I enjoy the sketch comedy and your last few sketches were amazing, the kind of personal rawness you have in your "Last Week/Month" content has always been a big draw. Since a lot of your personal issues and struggles resonate with me I always felt like I wanted to answer a few of those questions you throw to yourself and the audience. So here goes - this is not supposed to be "advice" or anything like that though. Family/Kids: I feel the "living day to day" struggle. Know that it is not too late and you still have time to make that decision. My first child is on the way but we really only made that decision a year ago. Is it overwhelming and scary? Yes! Is the world going to break way too soon for me to feel comfortable with the decision? Likely. Ultimately my wife felt strong about it and I wanted to support her through it no matter what. Content: As I said, I enjoy the vlog style you have and I am fine with Last Months and Content and TryHards. Though judging by the absolute insanity of the surfshark ads you have not lost your sketch comedy edge at all. The only thing that no longer works for me is asdfmovie but I guess lolrandom content has a shelf life. I heard some kids quoting asdfmovie on a bus a few weeks ago so the audience is still there. The last sketches you posted were all great but since I am not a creative person and I dont put my ideas out there for others to find I will never understand the struggle. I just firmly believe that you could "just" shoot a new sketch and I hope whatever decision you come to will free you from the struggle. You are not alone in your struggles and trying to preserve the past so you can still remember it when your mind goes is not weird at all. I guess this long ass comment can be boiled down to - carry on, we all struggle and you are fine.
