Chapter 9 / Page 21 pencils (Patreon)

I fell off the wagon sharing the WIP pages of Chapter 9!! Forgive me, I was traveling a lot seeing family from the end of December through January and fell out of the habit. 😔 I'll be more on the ball now that we've resumed updating again!

This was supposed to be a simple page, but because the breakout of Cameron touched every other panel, it became really hard to color to differentiate everything! I think I'm happy with the final product, but I have so many alternate color versions of these pages just because I was trying to juggle color language as well as legibility the whole time lol... You can see one of the older versions of the colors in the final slide!

I love love love that Ananth does so many thumbnails for the comics, but it's so funny doing a jokey 'aside' shot with cartoony proportions because the models are barely referenced at all... (thank you Ananth please don't stop thumbnailing for meeee)
