I’ve listened to both chapters. Overall I think it’s good, it’ll be better once post production processing is completed. Having just finished 5 recently the change in narration is obvious and takes getting used to. That said I think the new narrator is just as good as the old, just different. I think once the previous books are re-recorded there should be no issues for new reader or to people like me who re-read. I can see how some would have a hard time understanding ruggrat, but I think it’ll get better in post production. I do like how his voice turned out though. Overall the new narrator seems good to me. For existing reader we just have to “get in to it” with the new one. I personally won’t be re-listening to the old books until they are re-recorded so the change is narrator won’t be as irritating over time.

He has to do something different with Rugrat's voice whatever he thinks he is doing is wrong. I tried to listen to this one and I could not finish. I am sorry understand you cannot go back to the first guy but this one is not going to win anyone over. I love reading the Drizzit Books and could not wait once I got into audio books then the voice actor started talking I have not bought an additional Drizzit book nor do I get an audible book with that narrator. I would not have gotten into this series had this been the initial narrator.
