I just finished listening to the first five chapters. I am very interested to see how the post production / editing will turn out. I feel like the new narrator doesn’t have the same range of different voices. So far they seem very similar aside from the new French accent guy. I also felt like he was a bit rushed at times and talked so fast I couldn’t understand him. Some of his tones at these moments even felt like reading these parts were a chore for him and he was being put out having to read those parts. Hope that makes sense. I will say that I will really miss the former narrator. After five books I had forgotten how mono tone some other voice actors can sound. Would it be out of the question to have multiple voice actors? Like say, a female to perform the more feminine voices?
