Looking back, I realize I’ve got quite a few Grimm-style fairy-tale scenarios where the wicked witch is having the time of her life cackling over her poor, unfortunate ticklish victim… Hmm, let’s see how she handles being on the receiving end this time.

To be honest, I never settled on a specific setting beyond the fact that, for once, it would be the witch herself who’d get a generous dose of tickling… So here are a few ideas that inspired this scenario: How about a catastrophic failure while dabbling in dark magic? Or maybe messing up three times while reciting the spell to open the chest—triggering, much like with credit-card PINs, the mimic chest’s anti-theft security system, with far more disastrous consequences? And then there’s the one that would certainly have been my favorite, very much in line with a certain Grimm tale: Hansel and Gretel—only this time Gretel found a more “humane” alternative to pushing the witch into the oven… or well, maybe not… 😈​
