NOTE: Final draft updated. Awbari Book 1 [ Korean Version ] will be published on Amazon on 11 July, 2024.

While the last 20+ pages of Awbari Book 6 are being colored and lettered r/n - we would like to share this special project.

One of our long time Patreon backers has translated BPRE Awbari V1 into Korean. This will not be offered as a usual Patreon reward, however we decided to share it here for all interested parties. There is a strong possibility of a print release in the near future, but that is uncertain at this time.

Unfortunately, it’s not something we can judge as no one on the team speaks Korean. If you have specific feedback, you should leave it here.

Hyunmin Ko

I would love to hear it as well.

Firstly, numbers were translated following the Korean military phonetic pronunciation. If you served, you would have known. Secondly, "친구" is how the word "pro" was translated, which is supposedly how "bro" was said by a person who speaks English as a foreign language. Yes, it was intentional to make it sound unnatural, because the said person's use of English is unnatural. Thirdly, there were four profanities in the entire book, all being practically the same word. I would love to hear from you how much more variety I could have offered. Nonetheless, thank you for your feedback.

You got me there. It IS "Evergreen (에버그린)!" I can't believe I missed it. I'll contact the studio and ask them if changing it is possible. Thank God this isn't in printing.

Hyunmin Ko

That makes two of us. Thanks.

I apologize to DC and all the people who may have found our interaction inappropriate. It wasn't professional of me at all and at the same time, disrespectful. This won't happen again. I'm sorry.

Hyunmin Ko

I'm sorry. I got carried away and it wasn't right of me to act as such. You didn't deserve any of that. I apologize.

Jon Chang

Thank you, Hyunmin. DC, I apologize on behalf of our studio for this interaction and thank you for your support over the years.
