We have made the decision today to push the early access release of the BPRE game to January 31, 2020.

For those of you playing the "canary build", you'll note the new maps have a number of issues we are still resolving in addition to a few gameplay bugs, also being addressed right now.

Basically, nothing good comes from crunching and we have been crunching like crazy. Taking a step back will allow us to come up with better solutions and address all the issues we have identified.

The game is still intended to launch with 3 different battle spaces and 3 operations types. The plan is to get the game out with the game mechanics in place and working. From there, we can add polish to existing content as well as expand on the what's there to include additional interior layouts and more battle spaces (there are 2 new battle spaces currently being tested in pen/paper mode).

Thank you for your continued support and happy holidays to everyone.

Is there a list of key commands anywhere for the game? I tried it last week but couldn't figure out which did what?

"alt+return" fullscreen "tab" cycles between units in the kinetic force or possible options, such as PID-ing (positively identifying) and unknown pax or area of interest or when prompted. "w-a-s-d" move the selector on the grid (can be used to select a destination for friendly unit or an opponent to be attacked). White grid indicates movement range in the initial movement action. Blue grid indicates the range of a "sprint" action. NOTE - It is possible to step-by-step through your actions, setting an destination which would not exhaust the full range of movement for a unit and then continuing. This is useful for establishing a line of sight with unknown units, positively identifying them, and then charting a new destination for the player unit depending on what they see. This is how we handle "pie-ing" corners for those familiar with the technique. Mouse move the selector around the grid and double click to effect contextual action (ie target an enemy unit and fire) "esc" or "right click" cancels action before committing to it. IE you cannot cancel an action after a unit is already moving to a destination. Likewise, you cannot un-do a decision. "v" initiates drone strike by prompting target designation. Targets can be individuals or empty spaces on the board to have the most effect on targets. Drone strikes can also be initiated by pressing the drone icon on the right side of the screen. There is only one strike available per operation. "space" when selecting local national or jihadist will have current unit attack "space" to select a destination to move a PMC unit to "q" or "e" rotates orientation of unit - effects target recognition "." ends current PMC turn "b" Blackout Action - prevents local nationals from reporting a contact with kinetic forces - if you have acquired a Blackout Action, you will be prompted to use it and block an escalation event - when it occurs. To assault the target house, position all your surviving assaulters adjacent to the structure and breach will automatically begin. "command+q" or "ctrl+q" to quit when game is over

I would play this more often if I didn’t have so little moves to make on the game but I like the game BELIEVE ME!! I just don’t like the limited spaces.

Jon Chang

The limited spaces? Meaning the maps are too tight?
