I gave up before I even started. See you at the ‘shed.

Craig Rosen

Been working on this one for over a year. The middle section is even worse than the intro… ughh!

Wonker

Awesome!!!’ Job

Daryl

Sails please!!

Glenn

Since you asked, it would save me a lot of time of you did "Riot In The Dungeons" by Yngwie, er, I mean Yolo. I think you did great for one day spent.

Chris Pearce

When you have the video of your picking technique @ 22:03 in, I'm sure your dog is scratching along in triplets in time with the metronome. Awesome video. What Metronome are you using these days? Some Vai from Alcatrazz or PIL days would be good.

Stanislav Ossovsky

Hopefully I will be able to play it if I practice for about 20+ more years :) Can I apply for the amp lottery living in Korea?

Daniel Hedger

Far out, I didn’t know this one before but it’s a monster. Since you asked maybe have a go at Perpetual Burn by Jason Becker.

Kasper Beuse Fauerby

Insanely impressive effort, on an (almost) impossible piece of music. However, my main take-away is perhaps surprising.. namely the way you react to hard stuff and "imperfect" playing! Some of the first footage of you attempting (around) 140bmp sounds a lot like me trying something hard, just at an even slower tempo. I'm not sounding perfect, and neither did you - but you allow yourself a "that's not bad, I'm getting closer!" reaction where I generally tend to be hard on myself. I think this is holding me back from eventually nailing it. Thanks for showing how players on all levels struggle, and for inspiring me to try another state of mind in my own technical struggles :)

My fingers hurt just watching this...gotta add it to my practice routine for alternate picking.

I would second this thought. I’ve recently been working on a Zakk Wylde run that’s triplets at 240 BPM. I started at like 120 and was like “eh, could be worse” lol

DaveTheGuitarPlayer

Ok, I'm only 12 seconds into this video and it's already AWESOME! :D

alexis mccraig

Brutal, and inspiring at once. And BTW, that guest singer you had at the last Skankbanger show was the business.

SteveC

Uh...Uncle Ben? I'm still learning the BATM solo. I'll get back to this, hmmmm eventually lol.

Todd Staege

Savatage Criss Oliva please.

Art

Absolutely insane,I love this. But good God I will be in the woodshed until next summer!

Thad Bonduris

I’ll never learn any of this stuff in two days before woodshed! Just recommend something that won’t kill me, and in the meantime, I hope you’re not gonna hurt yourself!

Eduardo Aguayo

Yes! Sails of Charon!!! Thanks for all the awesome work!

Gregg B.

I think it is about time. Sails of Charon. Sail it. Char it. On it.

Gregg B.

Also damn you for plaguing us with this song. It is so fun and so infuriating at the same time! 210 bpm WTFBBQ!

Markus Bruun

“And I was home schooled!” I just spat out my coffee… hahahahaah.
