Awesome video Uncle Ben, and awesome riffs too!! I have an only peripherally-related video request: would you be up for doing a lesson on the kind of tappy metalcore-ish (?) riff you played from 1:51-2:13? For the life of me I can't seem to figure out how to get started with that kind of thing!

Connie B

Guitarlier! Great video, Uncle Ben, and your surface design work on the guitars is true eye candy.

What happened to Arc?! That music is awesome! We need more details about that project so we can give you more reasons to bring it back! You are motivating me to take my Ibanez RG7321 off the StringSwing…

Mark Soden

I love this episode! You can really feel the love for seven string guitars! Even a tip of the hat to the Jazz guys! Wow! Comprehensive!

thanks man! well, a couple members left to join another band and it just kinda imploded. Real bummer. But, thanks to this video, we are all chatting again and are even talking about recording the final tunes we wrote but never documented in the studio! stay tuned!

I'm not so easily influenced.... says he who hesitantly joined your patreon, watched this once and ordered a new Ibanez7 multiscale. Then I remembered I have enough trouble with 6 strings. Oh well... jump in the deep end and learn how to swim eh?

AK

What is the tone you used for the "Slappin and Tappin" section?

Welsh wizard

I'd buy one just to play Alter bridge, show me a leader. In any colour you have there..wow what a great collection. Must be like a sweet shop of gear in your house . Thanks Steve!

Robert David Orr

HELL YES we need a video tour through all those 7-strings!

Carlos Alcántara

Thanks again, Uncle B! I had been all over YT trying to find a video to get more out of my 7 string buddy without any success. This is exactly what I was looking for. If you haven't done so already, it would be fantastic that you made a video about prog metal slapping and tapping arcane magic.
