Because you asked for it! Here's an oldie, a pre-patreon post on the solo to Hail to the King by A7X. Enjoy my totally shot old school whiteboard tab photos!!!! Hahaha those were the days.... they'll get the job done, but let me know if you want me to take the time to re-do these as a PDF like my modern TABs. Cheers!

Hail to the King Avenged Sevenfold guitar solo lesson Weekend Wankshop 190

www.facebook.com/unclebeneller instagram @BenEllerGuitars Skype lessons? email BenEllerGuitars@gmail.com Hey kids! On Weekend Wankshop 190, Uncle Ben here is gonna take you all on a metal odyssey through Synyster Gates' solo on Hail to the King by Avenged Sevenfold! And i'm going to be showing you all the RIGHT way ti play it, i haven't seen any accurate lessons here on youtube at all! Especially when it comes to the sweep picking and economy picking lines in here, which are really tricky. This solo is cool, its got some neat gypsy jazz arpeggio ideas in it, some whammy bar tricks, some sexy slides, all the good stuff. Its not easy, so take your time with it! Playing my Suhr Modern White Tiger with Aldrich pickups through my Kemper Profiler, using a JCM800 as usual. There's a lot more A7X solos i should cover, right? Let me know what i should do next!

Oh hell yeah man. I've been practicing the solo to buried alive which is another tasty one and excited to get into this one too.

Uncle Ben has been busy today.

Deep Goswami

That would be awesome if you could!!

When Uncle Ben first posted this, I dove into it. I'm not a huge A7X fan but I felt that if I took the hard part on this one, the rest of the parts are pretty dang easy and my band could add it to the set pretty quick. We've played it live a dozen times or so now and it's a crowd fav. So thanks Uncle Ben!

Glad y’all are stoked on this one! Let me know what other A7X solos we should learn, too.

Luis Bonnin

The solos from Bat country, or Nightmare. I think those are more on the intermediate level and not on the ridiculous side.

Dazza

The solos from Buried Alive, Nightmare and So Far Away are my favourites from the Nightmare album. An Uncle Ben lesson on any or all of those would be great!

Hey Ben , could you do more a7x and synyster gates in future , he’s my favourite player his style is so unique and intricate would love to see you tackle it!!

ZlatanPlaysGuitar

Ahh so cool! I would also love to see the Shepherd of Fire solo too! 🤘🏻🔥

Sick! Love your guitar tone on this one. A really cool solo that I've never actually heard before. Another one thats great by those guys is "The Stage" .

OldDogNewShred

Sweet! Following this lesson made it possible for me to muddle my way through a few of the tougher sections of this solo. And gave me the terrible idea of trying to tackle the mountain of notes in the solo for Afterlife....

Christopher Henry

How about some The Black Dahlia Murder solos or riffs?
