His body markings aren't traditional tattoos but rather "henna enchantments;" temporary runes that store spells! They come and go depending on whatever he's getting up to. Meanwhile, his hair just kind of does whatever.With a lot of my characters I'm trying to simplify their visual designs more, give them some core recognizable traits but with less pain-in-the-ass tattoos to remember and redraw.
