No matter what type of producer you are, chances are you've used a preset. Whether it's loading up the first patch on a brand new synth, or downloading a new pack from your favorite sound designer, somewhere along the line we've all used one. Not that presets are bad, they're actually quite good! I'm a firm believer in the power of presets which is why I made this video.

In this video, I offer up some strategies on how to best utilize the power of presets so you can make the most of them in your own music production. While I do that, we also take a look at a brand new (and very good!) batch of ambient presets for "Unify" from PluginGuru from a new bank called "Modern Cinema - Ambient Dreams." It's really quite amazing, as you'll soon see.
