Patreon Exclusive track breakdown!

Now that "Astral Ascendant" the new album from Ascendant is out there in the wild, I feel much more at liberty to share and talk about how the entire album came together. In this Patreon Exclusive track breakdown video, we go over every individual track in detail and then talk about the overall structure of the track and discuss techniques that you can use in your own productions.

Let me know what you guys think of this one! Hopefully all of you are enjoying the new album. Thank you so much for your positive feedback, it means alot to us!

Cheers and enjoy,

Great video Chris. I love the track. It's interesting to see that you only use the pro-Q3 & Pro-C2 along with the Valhalla delay and room reverb.I'm assuming that there may have been extra effects going on within the actual patches themselves, such as multi band compression, distortion, reverb, etc. It's also interesting to see how you use the EQ as you don't overdo it. I really enjoyed the video and a big YES!!! to you making a series of them. Cheers, Paul.

Wow, simple yet effective! I would like to master this art as quick as possible :D More track breakdowns, please!!

Great track BTW, I noticed that you've got everything bounced to audio, so we're not actually seeing any synths or FX or even STEPIC. Is this because of the collaboration or is it part of your process when doing the final stages? (curious, cuz I have never bounced anything - I have a beefy rig and have never had the need).

This is perfect! Was wondering how you made this track - thank you so much for taking the time to post this. Invaluable!
