Here's a video you won't want to miss!

As you all know, I'm a huge fan and ambassador for Stepic. Not only is it one of the best, if not the best sequencer you can buy, but I use it on nearly every track I make and it helps me bring out the signature sound that I'm known for.

While there are a ton of videos out there showing the technical side of Stepic, we felt that there needed to be a video series showcasing the more creative and "practical use" side of Stepic, so you guys can get hands-on and really start incorporating Stepic into your workflow.

Enter the "Meisterclass."

In this video, I walk you through an entire track using only Stepic and Vital. The best part is, not only do you get a full track walkthrough, but I've made an accompanying pack of Vital presets you can download and follow along the tutorial! It's an amazing concept and video and I hope you guys enjoy it!

Let me know what you think in the comments below. Be sure and like and subscribe to his channel as well!

Cheers and enjoy,

Awesome! I had actually just spent a good chunk of the day today watching the "Ultimate Stepic" Tutorials (all 6 of them!) to learn more of the details. This tutorial will be perfect review and practice! Thanks!

I recently bought Stepic because of you showcasing it in your videos, so your ambassadorship works! 😄 And also because it's well-priced. Only the link to the presets seems to be missing.

This lesson just brought it up a few notches! awesome

Awesome! But as you explained how to export the MIDI Infos, stepic is not exporting the Automation stuff. I was not able to get them out of stepic. Any tricks you know?

This is the best tutorial I have ever seen!

This was a great tutorial addition to the more technical videos available from the stepic website. It took me nearly an hour to figure out how to do the automation through Logic Pro (mostly because Stepic didn't display the mapping like it did for Chris in Ableton so I didn't realize it was working for a while, and because I'm not very experienced at such things). One small tip, perhaps only in Logic, is to turn off Stepic once you've copied in the midi... Thanks so much to S1gns of L1fe and Devicemeister!

Hi S1gns. Thanks for the great tutorial on Stepic. I can't find the supporting Vital presets to download. If you could advise if they are available, this would be most wonderful. Thanks again! Scott

I now feel more comfortable with Stepic having just bought 1.6 yesterday. Great tutorial even though some things are different. One thing I've noticed in 1.6 is there is no map function. It wants a cc number which the macro doesn't expose. I'm using Cubase 14 which has a macro modulator, but I can't figure out how to connect it to automation lane. More research is needed.
