You're starting the new year with a banger there. I'm looking forward to what's to come in 2025.

thanks Chris (and Happy New Year!!) some great tips! i find myself working like this quite a bit when i'm writing - i have yet to try putting together more than one track to make a set, this is also on my to do list for 2025. I'm not sure if you know this but if you right click on one of the stop buttons on a track you can remove it which is great way to launch a new scene without stopping another clip, for example if you had a long clip and you wanted to launch another scene halfway through and only stop or start half of the clips prior to the launch, you could then do that, if that makes sense.

Great tutorial chris! Would love a part 2 on actually recording a track session into arrangement ready for editing.

To be honest, I started to think that I should invest into launchpad and learn how to utilize session view(which will led me to perform my music live!). I'm saving this video in bookmarks and come back when I buy launchpad(probably Novation Pro or X: Push is for now out of my budget). So I can't wait to see more tutorials about this topic! :D

That's pretty much how I do it, Chris!! I do tend to print my audio though but what I play live is a little different. Just me, my laptop, launchpads, my Alesis Vortex Wireless 2 as a midi keyboard (with sliders and buttons that I can put to use) and for visual effect, a DD90 Digipad Sampler with flashing light up drum sticks to play simple synth leads on. Got to have that visual element and I can't afford a lazer harp LOL
