In this session, we take the groove we built in Part 1 and start adding detail, motion, and depth. We’ll explore how subtle percussion like hi-hats, shakers, and delicate accents can bring energy to the rhythm without overpowering it. Then we take the dub stab a step further by adding a second, delayed version that creates hypnotic echoes and layered movement within the mix.

From there, we shift into sound design by building a rich atmospheric layer using Serum 2. This helps expand the space around the groove and gives the track a deeper sense of immersion. Finally, we begin the first stage of arranging the track. You’ll learn how to sketch a compelling structure, build contrast between minimal and full sections, and shape your ideas into something with momentum and emotion.

See you in part 3!

Cheers,
