I’m excited to kick off this month’s three-part chillout music series on Patreon, where we’ll explore the art of creating flowing, hypnotic tracks that capture the groove and atmosphere of classic chillout sounds. In Part One, we dive into starting with the right intention, building up a groove before adding atmosphere, laying down a solid foundation, and then blissing it out with lush textures. I’ll walk you through each step, sharing insights and techniques that help shape music with both emotional depth and rhythmic flow.

Thank you so much for being part of this creative journey and supporting the work I share here. Stick around for the next two episodes this month, where we’ll go even deeper into arrangement, sound design, and the final polish to bring your chillout productions fully to life!

Cheers and enjoy,

It's always fascinating to watch you work. I'm really enjoying these tutorials but I still have so much to learn as I am only just starting my journey into ambient music! Thanks Chris

Hey, thank you for this tutorial series. Was wondering what CPU you got, and how many instances of Serum 2 can it handle before you get spikes?
