Early Access: Modulating Stereo SPACE with Envelope Magic (Patreon)
Content
I’ve got a brand new quick tip video for you—showing one of my favorite techniques for adding subtle motion and life to ambient mixes.
In this one, I’m using an envelope follower to modulate the stereo position of a pad, letting the amplitude of the sound itself control the panning. It’s a beautifully simple way to make your sounds feel like they’re breathing—shifting in space with every swell and fade. This is the kind of detail that can transform a static pad into something truly immersive.
As a Patron, you’re getting exclusive early access to the video before it goes live on YouTube. These early previews are just one way I like to thank you for being here and supporting what I do. Your support helps me keep creating, exploring, and sharing what I learn along the way. Let me know what you think of the technique—or if you end up using it in a track, I’d love to hear it.
