In this extended tutorial for One Sine Wave → A Universe of Sound, I’ll move into Arrangement View in Ableton and start fleshing out the track’s composition. We’ll take a close look at the points where many producers get stuck and work through them step by step, shaping the track into something that feels complete and alive. From a single sine wave, you’ll see how we can start unlocking the bigger picture of arrangement and structure.

We’ll also explore ways to add motion and energy to the piece, from introducing sequences to experimenting with alternate basslines and other techniques that bring flow and movement. If you’re looking for a deeper, more comprehensive understanding of ambient production and how to take your ideas further, this extended tutorial is for you.

Hopefully you enjoy diving into this process with me. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Cheers,

I'd love to see a part three just to see how you develop this beyond the initial intro. I know iv seen many of your arrangement tips but think it's one of the harder elements of track design and can always see more. Thanks
