YouTube Shorts and...TikTok? (Patreon)

Catchy title right? Not necessary but now that I have your attention...I want to address this. I've spoken to other creator friends of mine and we've agreed that YouTube "Shorts" isn't helping our channels. Not only does having shorts included in the uploads feed look bad, it turns off those who are looking for traditional content amongst bite-sized and condensed short clips.

Why am I mentioning this here? A few reasons. I wanted to get your feedback on how you feel about shorts so perhaps I can reevaluate them in the future. Also, I wanted to mention, as some of you already know, I am posting on TikTok now quite regularly. Not only is short form content accepted there but it's full of creativity and fun, which is something that's missing in the ambient community!

If you're interested, this clip above is the type of thing you'll see on my TikTok feed. Not only that, this is sort of a sneak peak at what I've got cooking up (in a longer form, I promise!) for all of you on Patreon. Cool right? The future is already looking amazing. Thank you for being here and as you can tell, I'm excited!
