I'll be totally honest with you guys, it's been a long time sound design goal of mine to make it on to a Luftrum branded soundset. Yeah I've done tons of demos for Luftrum in the past, but never have any of my own presets made it to press through the Luftrum Sound Design label...until now! 

Back story: When I was first starting out making ambient music, like many I discovered Luftrum through his work that he did with Camel Audio (aka Alchemy). His pads were the absolute best of the bunch. I knew that if I was using a patch made by him, it was going to be good. 

Not only did I set my intentions to make music like this, but I also wanted to meet him myself! So I reached out and asked him if he'd like to meet me in Finland (of all places) and talk about his sound design process. Surprisingly he said yes, and a new friendship was born. 

In the days following, I created a bunch of audio demos for his soundsets, but made it a long term goal of mine to create presets that would be up to his standard. Well my friends, that day has finally arrived. 

Hey! That's What We Call Pads, For Serum, vol. 1 (funny title, I know!) is a collaboration of 14 world class sound designers (myself included) focusing our energy on one thing...PADS! It's a major soundset with 240 presets. It also includes 150 wavetables, crafted by Luftrum himself, which you can export from Serum and use anywhere else.
