For the Ambient Presets tier and up!

Dash Glitch put out a tutorial this morning showing a trick in Vital or Serum, using the native wavetable editor to get more "width" from a patch, just by deleting the even and odd harmonics of two oscillators. Naturally, I thought it would be fun to try it out myself and guess what? It TOTALLY works for ambient pads.

Here's an example of this and how you can utilize this in an ambient context. By removing the odd harmonics from one wavetable, the even ones from another and then panning them hard left and right, you get a huge stereo image that really does shine through and allows you to play with the stereo signals in a more pronounced way. Fun stuff!

Cheers, enjoy and thank you for supporting me on Patreon! Link to the patch and the video in reference down below.

I immediately thought of you when I saw that video 😆 one thing i didn't understand was why this only seems to work vital and serum, because panning odd and evens can be done with other synths aswell. Or did I just miss something 😅
