Travels (Patreon)

As some of you know or may have learned in the live chat at Martin's "Home Concert" yesterday, I have been traveling. This trip, unlike other excursions I've made in the past was strictly for holiday and exploration. I haven't spent much time in London or Paris, and with my oldest daughter studying in London this past semester as part of her "Study Abroad" program, it felt like the most opportune time.
(Palace of Versailles, France)
I realize that some of you who live in the UK would be sad to hear that I was literally in your neighborhood, but this trip was very important for me to stay close to my family and any sort of "meetup" outside our itinerary wasn't in the cards this time. That said, it took the pressure off me and allowed me to really dig in to the culture I was immersed in and the sights I was seeing. I was so excited to be there and made sure to soak up every bit I possibly could.
(Westminster Bridge, London)
On a positive note (and something that will really benefit all of you!) is I took my field recorder (Tascam DR-40), Mini Tripod (Ulanzi MT-08), and iPhone 13 Pro Max wherever I went. I really wanted you guys (my patrons on Patreon!) to get the full benefit of your Patreon subscription with tons of usable field recordings and to be able to experience my travels through my lens. It was an incredible experience and I'm still taking it all in.
(Streets of Paris, France)
Just know that in the coming days, I will be gathering all the sounds and footage, and releasing them here, exclusively on Patreon for you all to enjoy. I did some writing, which I'll also share, and hopefully be able to process all this footage and get back to making tutorials after I shake off this horrible jet lag.
(Stonehenge, Salisbury, UK)
Big month ahead! Cheers to all of you and thank you for supporting me on Patreon.
