Note: I'm under the weather this weekend! The most I could muster was this blog post. Timely, but regular tutorials and content will continue next week. Cheers!

It doesn’t take much to change your life forever. Change takes on many forms. It could be as simple as a simple habit change, a change in your workspace, a modified take on your creative process, or something unexpected to happen that just shake things up that make you rethink your best laid plans weren’t going to quite work out like you thought.

As we grow older, we become more habitual and it’s often through those habits that either make or break the energy output that becomes our destiny. However, it’s through the process of change that we learn to think differently by doing so, we are allowing the universe to guide us. Trust and faith, vs. your own inner compass. The more we embrace this process, the more we can begin to cultivate a dance between the two. Holding on not too tightly, but not fully letting go. This begins with trust.

Every day I’m reminded of the impact I make on others. I see people come into my world who are literally transforming their lives on such a massive scale that it reminds me of the guts it takes to do such a thing. At any point in our lives, we have the opportunity to embrace the unknown. We can take something so simple and overcomplicate it, or we can just let whatever “happen” happen, and that’s where the magic is.

You can change, you can fully transform into whatever you want, you just have to be ready and willing to allow this process to happen. It’s not going to happen overnight, but it may well feel like it could. And it’s through that process that you’re going to see that the hidden “gem” in it all was waiting there for you all along. You were the catalyst, and you were also the receiver of this positive transformation. A conduit, if you will, for metamorphosis. You just needed the spark.

During these times, and in the months ahead - see this process as a good thing. Realize that you are here for a reason, reading this because there’s something inside of you that’s waiting to ignite, and there’s something that’s waiting for you on the other side of all that because it was always there for you. And even if you don’t feel like it’s the right time for change, or perhaps you’re struggling to find your “groove” or even studio time at all, just know that that the universe is always in motion and where there’s a lack of space for something now, that space will eventually come again. There’s nothing better than playing the long game and know that with persistence and patience, you came out on top because you never gave up and when the time was right for change you embraced it and things turned out better than they’ve ever been before.

This is amazing Chris. I believe wholeheartedly in the notion of impact - the impact we have on other people, the impact we make with art, the impact of our lives. In the face of that I always try to act with integrity, to honour other people and to contribute where I can. This is not hubris I hope- it is intended to be humility in the face of the world and people around us

Great inspirational post, Chris. Thanks for that. As an astrologer myself I always try to keep in mind that we are constantly feeling the influences of planetary transits in our lives. The ebb and flow of creativity is not something we can control, but we can always remind ourselves that a dry spell will pass. We must also bear in mind that spurts of creativity will not last either; so take full advantage of them when they come.
