Starting off June with a BANG!

In this video, we're going to explore the topic of the initial spark of inspiration and how we use the tools we have available to get there. There are so many different ways to start tracks, and I see a lot of producers out here who struggle with the initial stages! It doesn't have to be difficult but it does require you to experiment.

As I've said in the past, the beginning stages are my favorite part of the creative process! It can be scary at times, just letting go of your "normal" methods of working, but if you have patience, and trust in the process, you may find that there are sounds waiting for you on the other side that are just what you need.

I hope you guys enjoy this one! What are your favorite ways to start new tracks? Let me know in the comments down below.

Here's to another awesome month on Patreon!

Cheers,

Lovely stuff you created with just some noodling around Chris! Well done Sir! Ya.. I have to give Arcade a try as well.

Great stuff Chris. Yes, I've been using Arcade for the last two years. Many times I get to a point in my song where I just need a little something added to enhance the experience. I use the Sampler part of Arcade many times, which in itself is pretty amazing. Tons of different sounds which of course you can set to whatever key you're working in and still do a lot of tweaking with the sound. It's an innovative plugin for sure. Thanks again.

Interesting, I didn't expect the sounds to be so spot-on useful. I've looked at Arcade before, but the website is full of hype and not very informative - they seem to advertise it as a loop engine mostly, and I can't find a list of what's available, so I've stayed away. But the stuff I've been making in Phase Plant is very much like what you did here, and yes, it does take hours :-) but that's where the fun is, really!
