Happy Father's Day to all of you!

To celebrate Father's Day, I recorded this Hive 2 deep dive tutorial and I'm also providing you with the preset that I made during the video. The wavetable is included in the zip file so be sure to install both of them so the preset can sound exactly like it does in the tutorial.

If you haven't explored Hive 2 yet, I highly encourage you guys to download the demo and give it a shot! It's so full of modulation and sounds so good, it could be the synth of the summer for you if you take the time to get to know it's ins and outs. Hopefully this video helps you...

Cheers and enjoy and thanks for supporting me on Patreon!

Thanks for this very interesting video. It really picked my interest for this synth I don't know well. Gonna take times to see what's going on with it. Thanks.

Greetings Chris, thanks for the Father’s Day wishes. I wasn’t sure where to share this, but I wanted to share a piece I composed today using one of the beautiful ambient pads for Vital you shared a few weeks ago. It was perfect for this piece, and saved me hours of creating something suitable. I love your tutorials and music. I’ve been performing electronic music since the mid 70’s and wish I had access to what you present back then. Very thankful for it now. You’re awesome! https://on.soundcloud.com/cNFh2JG8KwGhTFGA7

Great tutorial! I'd like to see you do a review of Plasmonic by Rhizomatic Software Synthesis ... who is the same guy that created Absynth. I'm having a hard time keeping my wallet in my pocket on this one!

Thanks for this intro to Hive 2. I know there is tons more to learn, but it is so incredibly helpful when totally brand new to the various synths to have these introductory tutorials to demystify the basics of what the various parts of the synth are, how to patch them together, etc. It turns what looks very overwhelming and intimidating into a fun and inviting opportunity to experiment and see (literally on the scope, in this case) what happens next. :)
