You may have noticed things look a bit different around here...

As a platform, Patreon has been great. Since the start of the S1gns Of L1fe Patreon nearly two years ago (coming up on our two year anniversary!) we've seen lots of new features added. One of the most requested features was having more ways for creators like me to engage with my community. The connection to discord is nice, but it's not as convenient for users as has having those community aspects built in. Well we've asked for it, waited for it, and it hasn't been a reality...until now!

If you update your Patreon mobile app, you'll notice there's a new "conversations" tab that allows me to connect with you directly. You can also post your own messages, pictures, ask me questions...the whole bit! It's a neat way to stay involved and I'm excited to see it implemented. No word on when this feature is coming to desktop but I'm sure it'll be added sooner or later. In the meantime, join us on there! It's actually really fun and I love seeing other members getting involved too.

Oh and one more thing...if you want even MORE S1gns in your life...be sure to follow me on Instagram! My story on IG has been on fire lately and I'm really trying to give you guys updates from my everyday life. I've embraced making short form content and put it into my daily routine. It's fun for me to keep you guys in the loop and I hope you enjoy seeing what it's like from the inside.

Cheers,

p.s. I have heard reports of notifications going off for everyone's messages in the community feature. Apologies! Give them time to work out a better notification system. Thanks!

+1 for the notifications. I think I've got three so far, but they don't copy your message, just expect you to install the app, so you can't know if it's something important or if it's just a hello. And the app is only for mobile. I won't be using it, as sometimes I still need to save and conserve the last scraps of attention and time I have left :-) If I may make a suggestion, one good comm channel is better three or four - but of course I'm not in your position. I love you're work, man, but I can't follow you into a dozen different places. For me, it's YouTube and your videos here, this is where all the gold is.

I'm kinda with Marek. I'm trying hard to cut back on "device time" (phone/tablet). Too much device time is unhealthy -- bad for eyes, bad for neck, bad for sleep.
