Straight Sound Design. No Nonsense. Total Inspiration!

As you'll soon hear in the video, I've been under the weather for the past 3/4 days so apologies for my voice and for the radio silence! However, with time away from the studio comes time to reflect on what I'm doing and what the best way to move forward would be. Ultimately my goal is to help you all become the best producers you can possibly be so I came up with a new idea for a series of a tutorials focused on sound design.

Each episode I will focus on a different synth or a different aspect of sound design. These will be short, straight to the point, and focused tutorials that will hopefully inspire you and provide you with some techniques and motivation to take into your own productions. I've already got a whole batch planned for the first group of these which is coming this week. Hopefully you guys enjoy this one! Let me know in the comments down below.

Cheers,

I'm stuck with a pad I need, so this gave me a great excuse to Open Pigments again! I've been focused on other synths lately, but this one is a beast!

Hey Chris! Thanks for the update, hope you're feeling better already and glad to hear that this was also an opportunity to take a break and re-focus. In relation to Pigments I've been keeping an eye out for it however not yet ready to pull the trigger, gotta say DUNE 3 is still keeping me busy. It's like medicine especially when you add reverb!

Thanks, Chris! This was more "fuel for my fire" to concentrate on Pigments as opposed to buying yet another synth, especially since I'm trying to "standardize" on softsynths that are NKS or NKS2 compatible as much as possible. Hope you're all better quick! Cheers!

I love this deep dive in Pigments ... haven't watched the others yet but this is realy helping to go the next step in sound design and even getting triggered to use it in tracks
