The man, the myth, the VCV Rack legend!

After my interest in VCV Rack piqued in December of 2023, I was so excited to sit down and talk with Omri Cohen. If you don't know, Omri is the world's best instructor of VCV Rack. He's also a really knowledgeable and talented musician and modular wizard, and an overall wonderful human being.

In this episode we cover a wide array of topics starting off with his journey as a musician and how he found VCV Rack, his thoughts on fungi and mycelium and so much more. Also be sure and check out the bonus content "Beyond The Horizon" with Omri available exclusively here on Patreon!

Cheers and enjoy,

Absolutely wonderful to listen to you guys, talking on the subject, as explained.

Thomas Zakrzewski aka Blisshome

I finally got around to watching this. Great conversation music-wise, but the fungi talk reminded me of an experience I had while backpacking in Costa Rica. I stayed at a rural "motel" whose grass lawn was interrupted by several leaf cutter ant "super highways", about 3 inches wide and perfectly cleared of grass, running about 100 feet from the trees they were harvesting to their nests where the leaves were turned into the mulch bed upon which they grow their mushrooms. Amazing to watch the constant stream of ants, one lane of them heading to the nest carrying pieces of leave and the other heading "empty-handed" to the trees. At the trees I watched as some would climb up and cut the leaves, dropping them to the ground, where others would pick them up and start hauling them home. They never stopped. 24/7.
