If there's one thing we can all agree on, we LOVE ambient textures. It could be the ethereal wash of an ambient pad, or the gritty and distorted growl of an ambient bass, or the whispy and crackling sound of a nature sample on the high end, there's always some new sound texture to explore. 

However, with so many wonderful tools at our disposal, it can be difficult to know where to begin! Hopefully this tutorial will help you grasp some basic concepts and help you improve the quality of your own music.
