Well, I didn't think Cyndi Lauper would get through to this stage! Hopefully there will be some more votes for I DROVE ALL NIGHT as it is an awesome driving track, and she is the only female up here! Indeed women can drive!

I've voted for some songs I've never heard before, and included Blackfoot; one of my customers is former guitarist Eddie Golga, and he's a really nice guy, so they had to be included. I prefer Roy Orbison's version of "Drove All Night".

So I'll just say I will be attempting to vote for Born to be Wild (think this might be a legal requirement) Gimme All Your Lovin' (another legal requirement) The Road to Hell (because it's the long version and Chris Rea is a wonderful guitarist and artist, and hugely underrated IMHO) I Drove All Night (Only a true artist like Cyndi Lauper could add depth to a Roy Orbison track) Drive (A few minutes of beautiful soulful reflection while you're on your road trip)

Great list. Next poll maybe we can do ‘Tracks to loose your licence to’ ie songs that actually make you want to hit the gas/up the voltage, sing out loud while beating your hands on the wheel in time with the drums! - not just songs with Drive in the title. Here’s my list starter - ‘Bohemian Like You’ by the Dandy Warhols
