Ricky

Since Manowar didn't make it, Kings X gets the vote.

Ricky

Jan , would you have a particular song in mind?

Steve Young

One of my suggestions is finally a candidate! I feel so accomplished and validated. One small step for man, one giant leap for King's X!!!

D

Wish a different version of that Diamond Head song had made it, but a well deserving band and song.

Chris Gadsby

Glad Overkill got in again, just hope it gets enough votes to make the video this year!!

Scott Friedman

Def go with one of the Def Lep ones. Heartbreak and Switch 625

Barry P

The Judas Priest song has a typo, should be Let Us Prey, not Pre. I appreciate your votes for it!

Arrow2theACL

Wooohooo. I got the Leprous song in. If you have not heard The Sky is Red, I am not asking for you to blind vote for it, but if you listen, I highly recommend checking out this one to the end. About as metal as you can get with a choir and a cello. ;)

Matthew Hackbert

come on Winger! please give a listen to the song before passing it over... 🙏

Terence colin Shortman

Wow Fireball the first Deep purple songs I listened to that and Black knight never seen them on a reaction channel yet.

Walking the Path with Chris Ramsbottom

Amazed but really pleased that my suggestion of Am I Evil? by Diamond Head got in. I'd love to see Doug react to this seminal NWOBHM track, and I'm sure my old friend Brian Tatler would love to see the reaction too!

Vei Hei

Should be either Overkill or Corrossion of Comformity its say METAL may we had much opeth.. Diamond head is cool too . and now i see Deep purple in a metal monday LOL how metal that is .

Berniyh

Really surprised by how well my Opeth submission is doing. Looks like it's going to make it. Doug: I'd like to add a little something. The song this one leads into is Burden. You've heard that years ago. It's a mellow track with a very weird ending. If you have time, read through the lyrics of Burden. They really work well as an aftermath to The Lotus Eater. I doubt that the two songs were intended as a pair, just wanted to mention that it works really well.

Ross Pollack

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but this version of "Neon Knights" is about a semitone sharper than the original recording.

D

My six: Motorhead - Overkill, Deep Purple - Fireball, Black Sabbath - The Mob Rules, Black Sabbath - Neon Knights, Diamond Head - Am I Evil?, Judas Priest - Let Us Prey/Call for the Priest

Potted Rodent

Gojira was a favorite of mine up to the Magma album. Would love to see anything from their early albums on the channel, "Rememberence" from The Link would be great.
