Locomotovation by Tommy Emmanuel is great.

Ricky

Tom Petty Learning To Fly. Never gets played a lot anymore.

ben-one-eye

I just want Kraftwerk to make it. It wasn't even my suggestion, but since mine didn't make it *again* I'll be happy if that one makes it.

Chris B

Not another Pink Floyd, come on.

Adrian Goodrich

Far more than five I could pick, easily! While I am here...RIP Ozzy. 😢 Safe journey, Brummie pioneer of SO much that followed.

Sid Levy

While I cut my teeth on 70's prog rock and then the Grateful Dead, I do have a soft spot for the New Wave music that followed. Gary Numan's "Cars" was a defining moment during this period.

kjdarch1 .

YES starship Trooper and the most important Transportation onto the "Heart of the Sunrise" 🌅

Eusebio R-Z

I hope Silver Machine makes it! Just in case someone is familiar with Motorhead but not this song, this is probably the best known Hawkwind song with Lemmy Kilmister and Simon King

Mansel77

Three so far, silver machine, Mr. Jones and his speeding train, and a ride in a yellow taxi. 2 more votes left... hmmm. Rush might get one... More listening needed. Why didn't I think of 'Driving Through Mythical America' ... ah never mind. Wouldn't have got traction anyway.

BrianTheJeepGuy

It's a pity that Hot Rod by Black Oak Arkansas wasn't a choice

Ray Sincere

I really think someone should have nominated "Wooden Ships" as performed by Crosby, Stills & Nash.

Fushigi

I just wanna mention, I was annoyed I had to choose between Five Miles Out and Learning To Fly. I was also amused that both my top choices were both about piloting planes.
