SORRY...I misspelled Wendy Carlos' name (third option)...and I can't edit it now that the poll is live.

Alexander Leimbeck

Really sad to see so few votes for Hisaishi! Clearly the audience doesn't know that legend well enough!!

Pam Norris

I’m so glad to see The Pink Panther make it to the votes!

Great Scott

Clockwork Orange -- wasn't that Wendy Carlos, Moog Synthesizer Pioneer that did that? (not Carlow). She who also did the great Switched On Bach and The Well Tempered Synthesizer. (some of her earliest works may have been under the pseudonym Walter Carlos...)

Anderson Davies

So glad you included Tangerine Dream from my home city. They did about 30 movie scores and themes so far, started in about 1967 and still exist. Just check for random live videos on YouTube! Feel free to dive into phantastic electronic music. There is no musician or group in that area NOT naming them as influence, the true creators of electronic music

Dave Cohen

Bernard Hermann's brilliant theme from North by Northwest deserves MUCH more support.

Dan Noyes

None of Max Steiner's compositions? Where's Dimitri Tiomkin? Alfred Newman? Elmer Bernstein? At least give me some Thomas Newman...

Dan Noyes

You must check out/review the first few albums by the band, "Spirit" They are simply amazing and don't get nearly enough recognition.

Illume Eltanin

Hoping Vessels from Koyaanisqatsi makes it. The soundtrack album has been on the master list for an EPL and I would love for Dr. Doug to get a taste of Glass’ score to pique his interest and finally do the rest in an EPL.

Les Mable

We definitely need more Glass reactions (not just film music, but there's plenty of that to choose from as well). To some, it's all the same, but the devil is in the details (of course) and there are so many details.

David Durbin

I agree about Glass, but it doesn't appear he will get enough votes. Unfortunate. Personally, I would have liked to seen Colin Stetson's "Reborn" from the Hereditary soundtrack. He's an amazing musician and composer. Most of it is done with reed instruments, beautiful and haunting.

Please come nominate your selection for each month’s Fan Favorites in the Discord thread. If it gets enough upvotes there, it will appear on a poll here.

The exclamation point was for me being excited to be here. I appreciate your comment.

Gotta pick The Mission! Morricone is too good.

Tom Brophy

Great list but bummed that Ryuichi Sakamoto got no love.
