Once a tail biter, always a tail biter. I also love how Maddy looks this age as well. This isn't hard to imagine becoming canon, Maddy settling down away from the islands that is.

I also find it hilarious how much people were losing their minds last night about, in my words, Maddy leaving the Basitin Order. (AKA, being drawn without clothes while Tom worked out the proportions.) Comments ranged from "I knew Maddy would up and leave the island", to references about adopting the Keidran ways.

And now the sails are set on an older Maddy/Maeve ship I didn't know I had until now... Not like, a creepy fanservicey ship, but a ship that sounds like it could honestly work in canon the more I think about it. They'd actually have a really nice dynamic. With Maeve being so timid and innocent and Maddy being the sneaky, devious little Basitin atomic whirlwind that she is. It'd be super cute if it was a thing where everybody but Maeve was clued into what was going on, but Maeve honestly thinks she and Maddy are just really good friends.

I don't know why, but I'm really starting to regret not capitalizing on voting for "an older Maddy and Keith having a romantic dinner in from to a fireplace". During the stream, I saw tom mention that the rest of that entry was (something along the lines of) "...while an urn draped in Natani's mana crystal necklace sits on the mantle above the fireplace". I know Keith would be more likely to spread Natani's remains throughout the forest, to honor keidran tradition, but I still like the thought that even after she dies, Keith is left only with fond memories of her, like with Laura, and once Maddy grows up (matures a bit), Keith potentially falls in love with her, which I think would make for good catharsis, considering all he's been through (finding mutual feelings with the king's daughter). I know it's not exactly canon, but I do wish I could've seen it drawn

My guess would be Keith returns to human lands and marries Trace :P Still, thats a very deep and interesting concept. Hopefully we never see Keith and Natini break apart in cannon but it would be an interesting request.

Well the unfortunate truth is Natani won't live as long as Keith will, so there is some plausibility to the concept. And since Maddy is a basitin, she can (theoretically) live as long as Keith, assuming she doesn't get killed by anything

How do you know that Keith won't be the one to kill Natani himself (even though he failed when he was ordered to by his own government). After all, some would rather put down their loved ones themselves than let them be killed by someone else. Should Keith finally put his foot down and turn against the world that enslaved him (i.e. become a villain), it may be fitting for him to kill two wolves with one stone and at least bury Natani and his/her brother.
