now we need more information on how crystals work. we know they can be recharged, but how and what are the limits and benefits? are there different types of crystals? does the cut of the gem matter? what about size? can they be augmented to be more potent with other materials like silver and platinum to enhance their power or focus? I might be overthinking...

magic 101 said Keidran can cast spells faster than humans so perhaps some Keidran know how to recharge their crystals faster or something Natani also mentioned something about recharging her crystals.. though this makes me wonder are crystals sold at like shops or do most people find them out in the wild? and do the mage towers have some link to the crystals?

If my memory serves don't Mana crystals tend to form around dragons' sleeping places, since they basically radiate magic?

Natani mentions trying to recharge crystals on the trip to the Basidian Island, but never really goes into more detail than trying to find more. and yes, they do tend to form near dragon nests. congrats! in two sentences we have sumarized practically all we know about the crystals. there are far too many unanswered questions, and i would love to see more lore posts in general.
