I know, no need to rub it in. But we may see her in flashbacks, as a force ghost, or something else later on. Who knows? We haven't even seen her present form (urn) since the ship fire, so perhaps my Brain Canon is right and magic was forced into the urn, reviving her to some extent. But that's more wishful thinking and fanfic than likely for the actual comic.

It would be much more upsetting and disrespectful if Tom actually brought her back. We had an entire chapter dedicated to giving her and Keith closure, so digging that back up would kind of ruin that entire arc.

Maybe she didn't died at all, maybe the one that died on that day was either her clone or her twin sister that she never liked. She did all that just to play mind games with Keith because she's insane.

No disrespect, or upsetting situation, intended. My idea involves Daniels or another guard getting stuck cleaning up the beach and it becoming a kind of "I Dream of Jeannie"-esque situation with the two, with her thinking he revived/rescued her somehow. That way it doesn't ruin the haunted story arc, and we get to keep seeing her. Win win.

Omg this is so beautiful. After tom made this sketch during the stream, I had a dream that this became a side comic, like dragon masquerade or pixie panic. More of a flashback story to when she and Keith were engaged, where Laura was trying magic and accidentally gave herself eight more tails. The whole rest of the story was spent with Keith and Laura begging mages to help reverse the spell (The story had more of a comedic context). Anyway. Thank you Archataerra for the suggestion, and thank you Tom for making this idea into a breathtaking sketch. This is an absolutely beautiful (even if non-canon) picture of Laura, and I will be really sad if we don't see it coloured.

Tom, it would be amazing to see Laura come back as a Kitsune, and cause an interesting love triangle between Keith, Laura, and Natani, while Natani has her own love triangle with her, Keith, and Kat, while Kat has one with Nat, Kat, and Eric... Wow. That's a lot of love triangles. More like a Love.... Hexagon?

You and me both brother. In my brain Canon, Natani will get pregnant on purpose (though I'm not opposed to an accident), and then, after Natani figures out how to force Keith to share in the labor pains, has a beautiful hybrid baby born into group A.
