The trio having their first Thanksgiving-like celebration at the apartment, suggested by Galen! Presumably this is shortly after Willow moved in.

This is so sweet and wholesome! :)

aphelius

Well, somebody's gonna have to eat for two I guess

Markius Fox

Yes, Willow, it is. It's delicious.

Richard V.

At this point if the cranberry sauce isn’t can shaped, it’s not Thanksgiving.

Broaster07

Yes Laura, cranberry sauce is dog food can-shaped in its supermarket state. Reminds me of the cans my mother used to open. 😆

Patrick Horton

At least someone isn't dressed up on the Pilgrim Clothes.

This is just a great sight to see 🥰

Rook Prime

Is this a crossover, with Windstraw ninja-ing a piece of the ham off the table down there in the corner?

Spillthefire6

Not at least untill Trace shows up and with Flora dressed like Pocahontas

Spillthefire6

The taste of their cooking more than makes up for the odd hair found in the food.

Jackie

That's Nora, going by the tags (and her prior presence in this setting.)

Thisguy

So… What does thanksgiving mean for Keidran. What does it mean in the modern AU twokinds world to begin with? Does the modern AU Twokinds world have a similar history to the US?

Skeleton Man

this would be very cute as a wallpaper!

Anonymous1988

Nora: "Come on, just..a...little...𝘧𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳--"

Nunya.Byznys

Yes, it's supposed to be that shape

Glenn Sellers

I won't swear to it but I believe that Tom had a short arc in which it was shown that the Keidran helped the humans who were starving shortly after their arrival in Keidran lands in a manner similar to the stories of the first Thanksgiving here in the US.

Fisk

Canned shaped cranberry sauce is the morally correct type

.

Im hungry....

Darwinskeeper

I still like the one with Trace dressed up like a pilgrim and Flora dressed like a turkey. That was classic.

Patrick Horton

There's actually a Thanksgiving-like holiday in the Comic when the Group arrives in Wreathwood. It could be a modern reinterpretation of that holiday. Holidays do change over the years.

Patrick Horton

Better that than in a adult turkey costume again.

Ezekiel S. Miles

Wouldn't be thanksgiving with out it. Even if no one eats it.

AetherSprite224

NICE! My suggestion was very similar, so even thought my suggestion didn't win I still got to see something pretty darn close! :D

Netari Icefyng

okay somebody will have to remind me what is the canned shaped food?

Ordithus

Early Happy Thanksgiving! Very wholesome. Lots going on in this little scene. If this gets colored... the food 👀

Rook Prime

You're right. I forgot for a bit that Windstraw's paws are brown and they'd probably be darker even in a black and white sketch. She's probably busy doing the same thing to one of Amelia's dinner specials at the tavern anyway.

Sailor Dillander Company

Del: "Same to you. Happy Thanksgiving, Neal. Give my love to the family, will you? Maybe I'll get a chance to meet 'em one day."

AetherSprite224

Cranberry sauce. Can't stand the stuff, myself, but it's so traditional even I'd feel like it was wrong to not have it on my table.

Netari Icefyng

i was thinking spam or some sort of canned meat...

BluePaw

gimmie gimmie ham ham

Netari Icefyng

So is willow the wierd fox thing or is willow the little flame?

Rook Prime

Technically both. Willow is primarily the flame, but the fox is also the body she's controlling right now. She can replace it if need be.

Mattgames4110

I would love to have a turkey leg if that is possible

wjd1206

A white cat's paw?! Could that be Nora?!

wjd1206

Who would want spam when they can have fresh cooked turkey or ham? And I never really enjoyed the canned cranberry sauce myself either. But I was blessed to have fresh homemade for several years. Wish I could have learned her recipe before she passed...

eddi_TBH

To answer Wisp. I wouldn't know what it was otherwise.

eddi_TBH

Loved it as a kid.

eddi_TBH

I'd be surprised if it wasn't. It think she's part of their family.

Jordan

I can hear the Cranberry Sauce go ‘schlop’ as it leaves the can.

AstroChaos

Of course it's can shaped! What other shape would it be?

Iago24

Willow's body is actually a lion.

silver dragonia

it's great to see they're having a great time together and hopefully their christmass would be egually good if not better by the way should someone take care of nora before she does anything for example catnapping a slice of ham? i would first i would tell nora off next if she does that again she'll get the meat tenderizer on her paws but if she asks instead i'll happily give her some of everything

Netari Icefyng

How are you sure that's not windstraw?

Netari Icefyng

and neither Kat or Laura are wierded out by the disembodied wisp??

Rook Prime

I had the same thought. Most likely Nora because she's tagged on the pic and Windstraw isn't. Plus, Windstraw's paws are brown and she has opposable thumbs.

Rook Prime

Not anymore, at any rate. She's perfectly fine, as long as you never, EVER let her lead you anywhere.

silver dragonia

my reasoning is: mischief without wanting attention as she tries to be sneaky windstraw she would've bolted for the ham and taken all of it in a hurry while everyone in the kitchen and living is trying to catch windstraw so 2 different kind of chaotic behaviour in that sense and nora is in the tags too which i usually don't notice untill later

Onyx Dragon 388

Always love to see Kate rocking the maid outfit. Also that can of cranberry, oof

SCD

Laura & Kathrin: (pointing at Willow) One of us! One of us! (giggling) Willow: O_O

RivCA

It does. So does spam. Want to know a trick? Punch a hole in the bottom to make removal easier.

RivCA

No. No, it's not supposed to be can-shaped. You're supposed to stir the jelly a bit before setting the stuff out. Jeez, every year. The worst of it is, I'm in the minority on this when using canned cranberry...

eddi_TBH

Oddly, I've never tried spreading it on a roll.

RivCA

What, stirring the cranberry sauce? Or being in the minority on this?

Justin Collins

I don't stur it. But I do cut it into little pancake shaped slices. You never just leave it can shaped
