Canonically, Laura id dead. From the sketches, Laura and her ReLife agent know one another on a first name basis. Or at least I'd think so. Also, Maddie can be best friends with both Karen AND Maeve. Maybe Maeve could teach Karen to draw. :p

Interrogation is too strong a term, it implies distrust for poor Adira. Kei has known her and been friendly with her for too long, I think 'interview' would be a better term. Just to investigate who took her and what they wanted to find out. I doubt it was any of Kei's people....
