At this point I am pretty sure she was pushing 20 years old, the death number for kedrian. My guess is that she dies on the boat ride home and Keith now has a dead Laura and comatose Natani on his hands at the same time.

Dang, so sad. Lose-lose scenario for Keith: lose his fiancé of 6 years or watch his new BFF turn dark again and more than likely head home and destroy the world. I like how you can see Keith is a mix of overjoyed for Laura and concerned for Trace. Great suggestion and sketch!!!

Mufasa is alive! He had his Bison stampede proof vest on, Simba was wearing a body cam implicating Scar for attempted murder and it impressed Nala SO MUCH that she invited all her lioness friends to assess if Simba could feel the love that night. Nothing sad ever happened, the end.

This was just a sketch suggestion, meaning the person suggesting it thought it would be cool to see what happened or was interested. You seem to have ignored the first person who said that, wonder if you'll ignore me.

But what of Maeve? Would she have to take Laura's place in this timeline? @_@ Regardless, I gain a dreaded sense of foreboding with this image...Although it may not be Trace who gets corrupted with dark magic in the end. Brahn and Clovis are looking pretty close themselves.

But your argument is that Tom drew this because "he can't take anything that is sad." He drew this because someone paid him $10 bucks to do this and the community wanted to see it. There is plenty of sad stuff in the comic, it is fine to have a what if drawing. This is also AU, not cannon.

What I like is that it seems Keith is getting happier. Natani and him have a strong relationship, Trace and Flora are his friends again, and he has made a good friendship with Maddie and Kat. According to Alaric Keith had more than likely never laughed since his banishment, and he cracked up with Trace.

It would more than be an AU comic wise. If you are talking about a sketch suggestion Trace would probably be murdering Natani or it would be him killing others while Keith and Laura relax.

Brahn and his daughter will definitively be forces to recon with. Clovis will be a threat to Natani but I feel he is more of a pawn that will be dealt with or converted away from evil within time.

Natani lived because of Laura dying. A life for a life. Trace saving Laura would have possibly doomed natani after she fell into a coma.

Sure, Brahn and his daughter will not be easy to deal with. As for Clovis, pawn or not, I'd say he/she's now beyond redemption. He/she refused to learn his/her lesson at the end of Dragon Masquerade (i.e. not to manipulate others) and made his/her own kind suffer. I fear he/she'll be in REALLY hot water should Keith rightfully get his hands on him/her.

Maybe the same could be said for Maeve. In the end, Trace was only able to save ONE person out of those three. But now I think there are hundreds and/or thousands more out there who need saving. Obviously, Trace won't be able to save them all overnight. And some of them may want to be saved by someone OTHER than Trace...
