Given the falling leaves all around, I don't think outdoor heat is the problem so much as the sheer exertion. As a hopelessly out of shape person myself, I can kind of relate. My guess is that Raine expected to be more on the Admin and organizational side of things, but when Maren refused to join in they needed to fill a spot and Raine was roped into participating.

oh i see though i can relate aswell as i haven't trained for that kind of exertion more of heavy lifting and heavy work such as construction so my strengths are in endurance and strength not necessarily stamina

It's hilarious for Raine to have that little flaw, on the one hand, I pity her, on the other, it's cool development of her character (Even in the sketchverse)-she's certainly uncerestimated herself a little! And Karen having fun is adorable, I am hoping there's plenty of water for when the race is over....

maybe she would've done so if she could control her shapeshifting powers hopefully she will soon enough on the note of exerting myself with heavy lifting and having endurance todo so i can do so well and do powerwalks when i am in a hurry as i carry heavy eguipment but i might try do a marathon in this case to see how well i am able todo it even if i may have less stamina than raine

I'm an HVAC tech, and formally trained to work in a nuclear plant. (Dropped out of the training pipeline.) Every line of this is comedy gold.
