I think all the Keidran have feral counterparts, like humans have apes/monkeys. And the rest of the wildlife is probably represented as well. The kid is a bit young so Keidran or wild are all tigers to him. Except he can safely hug a Keidran.

yeah that makes sense as i believe some feral wildlife has to be there for the eco-system balance and you're right keidrans are safer animals to hug but some keidran may not want hugging or despise it if i were any kind of keidran and a child were hugging my legs i'd be firstly surprised then ask the kid to stop hugging before i gently push the kid off me then gently and firmly tell the kid they can't just hug anyone while telling the kid some might not like hugs

Kinda would actually like to see Nora go the full "cougar" route instead of just being in a furry suit... IE, actual cougar keidran with a voluptuous figure. Yeah, I know Trace still would be SO done with Nora's antics but that's why it's fanservice.
