Is Evals supposed to be a female deer here? He/she still has dog ears, the nose is throwing me for a loop. Nice to see a male reindeer with one antler, lol. They all look so fluffy! Female reindeer also shed their antlers, but not until late spring, and they grow back almost immediately, though they don't get much bigger.

Fun fact: Most (if not all) of Santa's Reindeer would actually be female, because female Reindeer keep their antlers well into winter, while males shed theirs in late autumn! Of course, they are magic Reindeer. Technically Rudolf is the only Reindeer that's gendered (from what i can find). Cute art!

They don't necessarily need to lose antlers in the winter, if male reindeer are castrated they have a similar shedding cycle to female reindeer

The problem is that the gay community in Twokinds is smaller, and we're always going to be overshadowed by the straights in the voting. I've tried to promote it, but Tom gets annoyed if I say that, and also Tom doesn't like to draw gay stuff (he only draws handsome boys when he's with another girl, like Prince Lynx when he's with Reed or his favorite, Keith when he's with Natani or Laura).

Biologically speaking, Nathani is a girl and always has been, since she was born a girl. I'd even say she's a tomboy, something Tom really likes. We can have other examples like Queen Keidran.

I love the added detail that male reindeer lose their horns during winter to stop them from stealing food from the females. It's funny because I didn't know this till I researched why female reindeer were the only deer of that gender with horns. This means that all of Santa's deer are females. ;D

Basically, anything between two boys is off-limits to Tom. He simply isn't interested in the gay community, and he confirmed this to me himself. It makes me so angry to know that we can't do anything.

What? There's a gay couple in the main cast, Mike and Evals is also heavily implied to become a thing, and then there's Alaric and the sketches with him and Keith. The Lynx Prince is also bi. Tom's a straight guy, so he'll naturally gravitate towards female characters, but saying there's no gay content is disingenuous. I will say I'm tired of all the MikexEvals sketches where one of them is genderbent to "straighten it", and Tom could do a better (or any) job at filtering out transphobic suggestions with Natani.

As you said, Tom doesn't want to see two boys kissing. I mean, is it really that hard for Tom to draw Mike and Evals naked, sharing a romantic kiss, and both being boys? Is it difficult for him to do it? Actually, he simply doesn't want to because the gay community (boys' love) doesn't interest him, and Alaric with Keith is also something he can't imagine. We have to accept it, Dan, Tom will only draw boys when they're with a girl. For him, it's not acceptable to draw two boys in love.

I understand your frustration, Sillivy, but in Tom’s defense, he actually has drawn gay sketches before, and one even involved Mike and Evals kissing as boys and enjoying it. Also, have you seen all the Keith x Alaric suggestions that I’ve made that he’s sketched? As much support as I do get from people here, every single one of my suggestions was picked by Tom, including the one where Alaric proposes to Keith. It was during Pride Month, too. He knew what he was doing there :)

Have you *read* the comic? Keith and Nat literally kiss several times, and there are multiple sketches of them kissing, as well as other romantic sketches between them, and they're both guys. Alaric and Keith also has some romantic sketches, as does (male)Mike and Evals. You should take a look through twokinds.gallery before you complain any more. We literally had a gay sketch the 25th. And you really don't get to complain about a lack of gay representation while also talking transphobic and Bioessentialist nonsense about Natani.

Your support has always been great, AlaricLives87, and users like you give me hope and faith in the gay community on Twokinds. But honestly, Tom's efforts to draw gay boys are far too limited. You mentioned some examples, but they're few and far between compared to all the artwork of girls, who are always depicted as naked and sexy. And we'll never win a gay art poll. Since the Good Morning Sythe artwork, I don't think there's been a single gay painted piece by Tom. What am I simply asking for? More sexy art featuring the boys from Twokinds. I mean, not just seeing two boys together, but also romantic or erotic settings, like the kind Tom creates. I'm just asking for at least two or three sketches a month, and maybe one painted piece. But hey, if you want to criticize my idea, go ahead. I just hope Tom can give us Boy Lovers more fanservice 💔🏳️‍🌈♂️♂️

Statistically, the ratio of straight fans and sketches outnumbering queer fans and sketches is true, no doubt. For what it's worth, though, I find LGBTQ+ fans and allies to be a passionate and supportive bunch that has helped me be more open online since 2020. That support, in part, is what drives me to doggedly pursue Keith x Alaric suggestions as I have. The way I see it, if it takes a better part of the year or more just to get one sketch of gay romance, it makes it all the more worth the effort and a feat I wish for other queer fans to share in and enjoy as much as I do
