part of me wants to see an arc of Nibbly learning how to talk and asking to stay that way. (This reminded me of another webcomic, By the Book, where one of the main characters accidentally turned a tree and a couple of animals into anthropomorphic women and they elected to stay that way because they liked having hands and sentience.)
