Hah, Trace is really rocking that longer hair style! And Flora's reaction reminds me of the ending of Mis-Spelled where Natani somewhat bitterly notes how Trace doesn't even pay attention to how much powerful magic he's casually tossing around with the repeated transformation attempts, while Natani himself can only dream of doing it even once.

Gotta admit, out of all the magic in all the various fantasy series I've read I think this is the magic I'd get the most use out of. Flashy explosions are nice and all, but getting to skip that awkward "I'm growing my hair out and that's why I look scruffy" stage would be priceless. Doubly so if you can use it to cure baldness cause hoo boy is that a big pile of money you'd be sitting on there.
