Part of my point is that it isn't necessary for all of the main cast to be paired up like that. The conclusion of the story Tom is telling doesn't require everyone to be partnered up just for the sake of it. Some of them might find love with people outside the group and settle down after everything is done. It's a serious writing misstep to think you need all the main characters paired up.

I’ve kind of determined that Kathrin may as well be my Waifu because of all my past comments regarding “here’s a towel, let me help dry you off” and “come over here, you need a hug” and stuff. And like Zen, I’m single and “hopeless” (not really, just haven’t searched much). As such, I wouldn’t mind being introduced by Natani this way.

I agree, and I wasn’t saying that every main character would be paired with another main character. For all we know, Carver and Raine May get together (I’ve legitimately heard stories of a couple who met in situations where one was troubling the other), or Kat May get with someone else we haven’t seen yet. I just meant my “wonder” comment as “who will we meet, and who will be with who”.

And why am I chained up… And Where In Mekkan Are My Clothes!!!???” Kathrin (Who’s gone Feral and somehow entered heat (probably some magic potion she was expiramenting with)): “You can’t deny our relationship this time!” Eric: “But you’re my si…” Kathrin: “None of that now… Husband. You and I tied the knot while you were drunk last night.” *Eric wakes up with a fright next to Kathrin in bed* Eric (thinking): “Oh, it was just a nightmare, I really need to propose, but… I haven’t figured out the right time or place to do so. Let’s hope she doesn’t do that before I figure it out.”

I can’t agree with you more Moppy. Regardless of whether Natani will take a Male, or Female, or… Mixed? role in her relationship with Keith (at least as far as coital interactions are concerned that is), Natani has yet to get laid as well. (Last night, in comic, was so close though... so very close.)
