I believe the author at some point stated that Adelaide has Gigantism (a real disorder) although I can't remember where so I could be wrong.

Yep, Madelyn Adelaide, or Maddie Addie for short. And I agree, as I commented elsewhere here, anyone who is not Schwarzennegian in muscle, or Mike Jordan in stature would be crushed, simply by the flexing of her muscles.

Being able to see the heights on these gave me the weirdest thought. Upon noticing that Adira is 5'9", just by looking at her and knowing her in the comic I feel like I would only come up to about her shoulder. In reality, I would actually be around her eyes. My mentality still wants to think most adults are much taller than I am, but I actually am taller or as tall as most. It's a sort of realization that I am now adult-sized and childhood is rapidly waning. Why is it a weird thought? Because a Twokinds sketch of all things was the one to open my eyes.
