This came out superbly Tom, and I was really pleased to see this take 3rd place. Water's a real challenge to sell convincingly, but you've done an excellent job here. There's a lot of extra added detail from the sketch version including the flowing movement on the plants (nice one!), along with bubbles, splashes, and scattering on the water's surface. The lighting is really awesome as usual, and the caustics look even better in the colour version. Technically if you wanted to challenge yourself in future there might be an opportunity to make the crepuscular rays refract for slightly enhanced realism instead of taking a straight path through the water, but that's an incredibly minor detail. Otherwise I won't repeat what I said on the sketch. Beautiful work.

I love this scene, but there's one thing that I can't get over (ASD brain, sorry) and that's her floofy fur and hair... Wet hair isn't floofy, and so neither is wet fur... Still, love what you did!

Careful of that hook, Flora. (I've had the experience of helping free a gull from a hook caught in its flesh. Luckily it was too exhausted from fighting the fishing line to object to being handled, and we tried to be as nonthreatening as possible... but I'm still surprised it held still while I waved a multitool around its face. Fishermen, _please_ recover broken line!)
