It's a cutting from a special vine that collects mana from the air like morning dew. People keep them on bedside tables to charge small magic items and for use as a nightlight. They're... basically a fantasy charging dock. You can see them several times in the background whenever the cast is in a tavern.

Flora will always be se- I mean cute and I had a nightmare were Tom changed flora's look and she was furless and she had nips. It was horrible.
