She refuses to tell her, this made Rose angry, so she made both Red and Sythe fight to the death and forced Raine to watch them kill each other. She also added a stipulation to the fight, no one survives, if one does, she will forced Raine to kill the survivor.

Well she and Euchre both have the Perfect Transformation and it allows them to break the laws of nature that Keidran are bound by which is why Euchre has lived so much longer than he's supposed to and is in prime condition physically despite his "aged" appearance as a wolf.
